The Yin & Yang of Self-Compassion Retreat

We welcome you to join us in this weekend for a retreat that brings light to the engaged practice of self-compassion, During this retreat, we will explore and experience two expressions, or sides of self-compassion: the yin and the yang. Yin self-compassion involves soothing, comforting, and caring for ourselves during difficult moments. Yang self-compassion entails motivating, protecting, and providing for ourselves and our needs. Together, yin and yang self-compassion create a powerful force for emotional resilience and wellbeing, allowing us to care for ourselves, for others, and for our world in a wholehearted and sustainable way.

In order to nurture a sense of stillness and deep listening, silence will be maintained throughout the retreat. This retreat is suitable for your first retreat or a great way to renew your practice.
