A Day of Practice with Radhule Weininger, MD, Ph.D., and Michael Kearney, MD, on Being with Grief: How Mindfulness, Self-compassion and Nature Connection can help us to live with our Pain.
How Mindfulness, Self-compassion and Nature Connection can help us to live with our Pain.
There are some pains that cannot be taken away. The grief we feel when we lose someone or something of great significance to us, may be overwhelming and prompt a desperate search to find a way out of the suffering we are experiencing. But no matter how hard we try; we cannot make it better.
In this daylong retreat we will offer a set of practices that can help us to find freedom in our suffering. This approach based on mindfulness, self-compassion, and nature-connection will help us to find a way of being with our pain that lessens its intensity as we experience compassion, a greater sense of meaning, and deep heart-felt connection.
Please bring your lunch or you are welcome to eat at Tacos Por Favor which is two doors down from InsightLA. There are other lunch options within driving distance. Parking is metered.
