Mindfulness and Compassion Facilitator Training
This program provides training in mindfulness, loving-kindness, and compassion practices. During this program you will receive a thorough introduction into mindfulness and compassion practices, as well as instruction and guidance on how to facilitate mindfulness and compassion practices with others. You will deepen your own personal practice and learn how these practices can be most effectively shared with others. You will experience and explore the underlying physical, mental, emotional and spiritual frameworks and the evidence-base for cultivating mindfulness and compassion in your own personal and professional life.
You will receive instructions for supportive ethical frameworks, learn about the connection between emotional regulation and mindfulness, and explore complimentary practices such as forgiveness and gratitude in the context of your training. Brief on-the-go practices will be explored as a way to help you and students integrate mindfulness and compassion into moment-to moment experiences, and when meeting daily challenges. The program is centered on helping you effectively make mindfulness and compassion practices relevant and accessible for both yourself and others.
